For the third year, YCS has partnered with the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) and ANEW: Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program. This summer program serves students with disabilities or barriers to education and employment. Fifteen students graduated from the 2-week training and earned a $800 stipend from DVR.

We are pleased to announce that the majority of the College in the High School (CiHS) courses will continue to be offered during the 2024-2025 school year. Students in the AA-DTA program will still have the opportunity to earn their degree. However, due to staffing reductions caused by the loss of levy revenue, district support services for these programs will no longer be available. As a result, students will need to take responsibility for managing their own college registration process.
The federal Free & Reduced Meal Applications are now available. We strongly encourage all parents/guardians to submit a Meal Application. Completing an application takes less than 10 minutes, and parents only need to complete one Meal Application.
Does your child need to ride the bus to school? Please be sure to register your student to ride. This helps us balance routes and create accurate pick up and drop off times. Look in Family Access to see your child's route and times.
